John Lennon fue homenajeado con un concierto por el que hubiera sido su 75 cumpleaños.

El evento, en el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York, se llevó a cabo el 5 de diciembre donde se abarcaba su trayectoria musical. Aloe Blacc, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Brandon Flowers (The Killers), Peter Frampton, JUANES, Kris Kristofferson, Pat Monahan (Train), Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Willie Nelson, The Roots, Chris Stapleton, y Steven Tyler participaron en él.

   

Paul McCartney (quien le nombró como “beautiful boy” haciendo alusión a la canción ‘Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)’ de Lennon) y Ringo Starr enviaron vídeos homenajeando y felicitando a su compañero beatle. Yoko Ono, la viuda del homenajeado, apareció en el escenario para agradecer a los músicos y al publicó por haber participado.
